Research profile:                

Mr Abdul was born and bred in Cardiff. He obtained his medical qualifications from Cardiff University in 2012 and has undertaken both Foundation and Core Surgical Training in South Wales. He has successfully gained a Trauma & Orthopaedic Specialist Registrar Training number in Wales, due to commence from August 2017. 

Mr Abdul is passionate about teaching, regularly delivering teaching sessions to Undergraduate and Postgraduates. In recognition for his teaching commitment, he was awarded an Honorary Associate Clinical Teacher title from Cardiff University. 

Mr Abdul has gained numerous publications and has presented both podium and poster presentations at various international and national Orthopaedic conferences. 

Since becoming a member of WelshBone, Mr Abdul founded the annual WelshBone Core Surgical Training Interview (CSTi) Course in 2016. This course continues to attract delegates from Wales and England and attendance has successfully helped delegates achieve a Core Surgical Training programme.
