Research Profile:

Mr Teoh is one of the higher orthopaedic trainees in Wales. He graduated from Edinburgh Medical School in 2007, completed his core orthopaedic training in the Severn Rotation, and successfully obtained a national training number in Wales from CT2. He has published widely in different orthopaedic sub-specialties. These include oncology orthopaedics, trauma, paediatric orthopaedics, arthroplasty, spines and musculoskeletal infections. He has numerous JBJS publications. His clinical sub-speciality interest are Foot & Ankle and Trauma. He is working towards a Master of Medical Education from University of Dundee and is a honorary research fellow at the Bio-engineering department in Cardiff University.

My current research interests are:

1) Delayed union and non-union in foot and ankle surgery

2) Magnetically controlled growing rods in early onset scoliosis

3) Medium to long term results of total hip replacements

Use of LIPUS in F&A arthrodesis, R3 cup does not have a high failure rate in conventional bearings.
